Mike Hodge is a Companion Animal Doula, where he supports individuals and families as they care for aging, ill, or terminally diagnosed pets. With a calm, empathetic presence, Mike helps clients navigate the emotional and practical challenges of end-of-life care, from assessing quality of life and preparing for euthanasia to sitting with grief and honoring a beloved companion’s final days.
As the owner of Healing Touch, Mike also oversees business operations, outreach, and marketing, ensuring that the practice remains client-centered and accessible. He is especially passionate about meeting people where they are, offering clear and compassionate guidance during times that often feel overwhelming or uncertain.
In addition to his work as a doula, Mike brings a multidisciplinary background to the table. He is an experienced software engineer and flight instructor, skill sets that reflect his belief in thoughtful systems, calm decision-making, and lifelong learning.
Above all, Mike is devoted to helping people feel supported, seen, and steady in one of life’s hardest and most sacred transitions.
