Kooper grew up alongside our daughter from the time she was four years old to just after she graduated from high school. He was the absolute sweetest boy who was so quick to purr the moment you moved toward him for a scratch. Sure he was slightly naughty which resulted in him wearing a diaper in the last three years of his life. Our friends lovingly called him DC for Diaper Cat. You might not think a cat would handle diapers well but somehow it brought out the sweetest side of him even more. You also might think how weird that we'd deal with that for a cat. But our commitment to him when we took him in as a baby was unwavering as his was to us. To us, this became something that made him uniquely Kooper. He was very talkative and friendly when we had guests, and was just the very best boy. He is so very missed in our home. His sister Primrose who is still with us also misses him very much.
