Hospet gives families a structured way to observe, record, and reflect on their pet’s well-being over time. Some of the key features include:
Quality of Life Assessments:
Users can complete quality of life assessments that look at behavior, mobility, appetite, comfort, and overall happiness. These assessments help identify subtle changes that might otherwise go unnoticed.
Daily Ratings Tracking:
Owners can record how their pet is doing each day using simple “Poor,” “Neutral,” or “Good” ratings. Over time, Hospet shows patterns and trends, helping families see whether things are improving, declining, or holding steady.
End-of-Life Care Planning:
Hospet includes a guided space to create a care plan that reflects your pet’s needs and your family’s wishes. This can include goals for comfort, preferred care approaches, and what matters most in your pet’s remaining time.
Events and Annotations:
Families can note important milestones or day-to-day occurrences, such as a return of appetite, a new medication, or a favorite walk. These entries appear alongside charts and assessments, helping users understand how changes and treatments affect quality of life.
Support Team Sharing:
Owners can invite veterinarians, doulas, family members, or trusted caregivers to view shared updates and offer guidance. This helps everyone involved stay informed and provide support when it is needed most.
